Cihan Vehbi Salihoğlu is a Director in Mastercard's Data and Services department since 2020. As a global cyber security subject matter expert, he provides input on data protection and cyber security related matters to various projects. He is also working on building technology partnerships as well as enhancing the existing cyber security offerings. Before joining Mastercard, Cihan lead cyber security and data protection practice in Turkey for 2 years. Prior to that, he worked for Deloitte’s Cyber Risk Advisory department in İstanbul and New York offices for 11 years.

Cihan holds BSc and MBA degrees from İstanbul Technical University. In addition, he also has a Masters degree in Information and Technology Law from İstanbul Bilgi University along with industry certifications in information security such as CISSP, CISA, CIPP/E, CIPT and CEH.
